Champions 4i Release 8 Now Available for Windows Vista & XP

This release was designed for Windows XP & Vista. Full screen view of critical information Without manual resizing. Faster and more powerful than ever before. Tested and runs well with Win 2000, ME & 98SE. 

New Release Now Available (Spring 2008)

Champions 4i Release 8 is now available!  Some of the new features are 

(1) Each Pet Detail and all associated data can now be exported to an Excel file.  Now you can access and manipulate Owner information, Breeder information plus all key identifiers like AKC Number, Litter Number, OFA, CERF, ILP.  All this information contained in the Pet Detail Record and Associated Tables, such as Owners and Breeders are exported to the MS Excel file from Champions.

(2) Added Group Placement to Conformation Show Browse and added BOB and BOS to the Class Placement and Group Placement pull down lists.  All Placements are comprehensive and consistent.

(3) Updated AKC Show Entry Form and Litter Registration Application. 

Champions 4i Release 7 is the previous release.  Some of this release new features are :

(1) Research Database that allows access & grouping of pet characteristics / identifiers / traits such as Micro Chip ID, unique features, OFA, or CERF   

(2) Export capability of Pet Database to Excel.  Click the following hyperlink to see a screen sample:  Pet Detail Export to Excel. 

(3) New AKC Entry Form (AEN999-8/07) changes have been added 

(4) New Litter Registration Application (ALITTA-10/07) changes have been added.

With this release our staff has significantly enhanced the “INTERACTIVE DATABASE” capabilities of Champions with new full screen list / of all Pets, Conformation Shows, Owners, Handlers, Judges, Contract and Address Book. Powerful Sort Buttons provide ways to group information by Owner, AKC #, Judge and others. New Reports include full Database Reports for Pet Database, Shows, Breeders, Owners, and Handlers. Yes, this system is now capable of emailing your pedigrees.

Previous RELEASE 5/6 FEATURES

1. EZ Pedigree JPG picture capability: This new feature lets you simply navigate ONE TIME to your existing Picture then easily store into the Champions database. To display on the pedigree, simply click on the Include JPG button and the picture appears.

2. Added Pedigree Picture Master List: from the Retrieve Menu item. This capability with quickly all you to view a list of all pictures stored in the database. Double click to view the picture.

3. Updated Litter Registration Application with the current AKC release level. Numerous changes have been made to address the Arbitration wording in the Agreement. Also added Page Two of the form for your reference.

4. Updated Conformation Show Entry forms with current AKC release level. Agreement has major changes in wording. All forms of the Show Entry have been updated. Added Field Trial, Herding, & Lure Coursing Entry forms from the Other Trials Menu item under Shows.

5. Added the Credit Card information to the bottom right of the AKC Club Entry form. Where possible, the email address an credit card information have bee included. On some variations, such as Blank Entry Form, the email and credit card information are not available. 

6. Added bolding to the Email Address information to the bottom left of the AKC Club Entry form.

7. Updated the Co Ownership Contract to handle large amount of text update

8. Large Database enhancement to the Breeding Section. We now have customers with over 40,500 dogs in their database achieving Excellent response time with the increased Database Cache size that is standard in our Champions 4i Upgrade installation

9. Added Tools folder to installation package containing Evaluation Versions of Winzip for Champions Backup and pdfFactory for Pedigrees in pdf format. 

10. Enhanced Full Screen Working Pedigree and enhanced Conformation Show History Report.

Previous RELEASE FEATURES
The emphasis for this release is (1) increased usability via full screen access of all windows without manual resize and (2) increased availability of key Interactive Database Information such as Judges, Contracts, and Associated Pets for Owners and Breeders. Included in this release are the following features / new functionality: 

I. Increased Default Screen Size: Since Windows 98 the desktop has allowed for a larger field of view. We have provided starting with the 2000 Edition a Resize capability for all screens, but we have kept the default screen size to fit a 14 inch monitor running Windows 95. With this release we have increased all base screens to fill a 15 inch monitor, with screen settings of 800x600, running Window 98SE or more current release such as XP. With the exception of “popup” windows all screens have been increased. This will be very evident with the Pet Detail Search Screens. Also notice that all File Maintenance Screens are a similar screen size and color.

II. Judges Interactive Database: Under the Retrieve menu item, you will be able to retrieve all Judges and go directly to the Critique Section. This information has been previously only accessed via Pet Detail, Shows. We have also added a Judges Master List Report.

III. Associated Pets for Owners and Breeders: Under the Retrieve menu item, you will be able to Select Owner / Breeder. Double click to select Owner / Breeder and select the new Pets button to retrieve all Associated Pets for Owner or Breeder. You can print the list of Associated Pets for Owner or Breeder. Furthermore; double click the Pet and you will access the Pet Detail.

IV. Contracts File Maintenance: Under the File Maintenance menu item you will find a new item listed: Contract Conditions. Once accessed, you will be able to go directly to a specific type of Contract, add or edit conditions and then be presented with a “Blank Contract” (No Owner, New Owner Information added) to review or print. We have also added a print option for each Contract Condition. If you wish to transfer a Pet to a New Owner, you will proceed to the Pet Detail Section as with previous releases.
