The
Current Release 4i.2. . We urge all Champions Lite Customers to consider
Upgrading to the new Release. Please go to the Order
Products Form from the initial screen or Products
Section. CSSI plans to produce Upgrades to Lite on an
Annual basis.

Features for Windows Vista & XP
·
EZ Pedigree JPG picture capability:
This new feature lets you simply navigate ONE TIME to your
existing Picture then easily store into the Champions
database. To
display on the pedigree, simply click on the Include JPG
button and
the picture appears.

Added Pedigree Picture
Master List: from the Retrieve Menu item.
This capability with quickly all you to view a list of
all pictures stored in the database. Double click to view the
picture.
· Added Breeder Interactive Database:
from Retrieve Menu item and
File Maintenance;
This IDB provides all Breeder information on one
screen. Once
accessed, you can see the Associates Pets with this Breeder.
· Enhanced Working Pedigree:
Full Screen viewing of the Working
Pedigree is now available.
Some third generation spacing improvements have been
made.

containing Evaluation Versions of Winzip for Champions Backup
and pdfFactory for Pedigrees in pdf format.
· Pedigree
Viewing, Web Enabling, HTML Creation/Editing
The 4 & 5
Generation Pedigrees have been enhanced with a new release of
our development language, PowerBuilder(r) to create the
pedigree not only in printed form but also in HTML format.
A command button has been added launch the saving
of the pedigree to a
user specified folder and file name in
HTML format. Once
created, the user is free to make editing changes such as
Fonts, Watermarks, images etc.

CSSI has also
published a new capability to
capture and send via email a 4
or 5 Generation has become easier and more cost effective!
CSSI staff has just tested a new Portal Digital Format
(PDF) tool that
is low / no cost and provides Excellent
Pedigrees created and emailed directly from Champions.
A copy of Fine Print pdfFactory is included with our system
installation under the Tools folder.

New Associated Pet for Owner
and Breeder: Under
the Retrieve menu item, you will be able to Select Owner /
Breeder. Double
click to
select Owner / Breeder and select the new Pets button
to retrieve all Associated
Pets for Owner or Breeder.
You can print the list of Associated Pets for Owner or
Breeder. Furthermore;
double click the Pet and you will access the Pet Detail.

Screen Display Windows Vista Style Graphical User Interface:
All screens include the Minimize,
Maximize and Exit icons for fast navigation from screen to
screen. Champions
“4i Release” has redesigned all “main” screens to
display utilizing the expanded screen view of later
releases of Microsoft Windows.
Command buttons have been relocated to
the Right / Top of each screen that permits Resizing of
all sub Windows. To
accomplish this, place the cursor near the 3-Deminsional
border.
* Animated
Gifs for Your Entertainment
With this release, our staff has
included a “GIFS”
menu option on the initial screen.
Under the menu item, you can select one of four
animated images for your entertainment.
These images can be minimized and brought up at a later
time while in Champions. All
images are considered public domain.

Enhance Large Database functionality
·
Changed Warning Message for Pet Detail
Delete: When you delete a Pet Detail, you have the
probability of Removing a Sire/Dam reference for Pedigrees.
To verify that no Sire/Dam references exist, go to
Retrieve, Pet Database, Click on Sire, then Dam after the
review. These
buttons will group all Pet Details by the Sire, internal
access code not alphabetical order.
Find the Registered Name in the Sire column and verify
that no Pets are linked. Perform
the same operation for Dam.

Added a Reminder Message when you Exit
Champions to Backup YOUR DATABASE.
We recommend that you backup each time you make
changes and that you keep multiple backup generations on
Diskette or CD as well as one Copied to My Documents.
