“EZ” Pictures In Pedigrees  

With Release 2 of Lite 4i, the new EZ Pedigree Picture functionality has been added.  To access, Go to the Pet Detail screen and click Picture menu item.  This will take your to the EZ Pedigree Picture screen for full Jpg Management within the Champions Lite database.  Note; previous release of Champions Lite required storage outside the database in a Windows folder.

Instructions for inclusion into the database for later display on the 4 and 5 Generation Pedigree are listed on the screen.  Here are the requirements:

1.                Picture MUST BE a JPG image

2.                Less than 200 KB in Size.

3.                You need to know where the source picture is now stored.  That is what folder, diskette, or CD.

4.                Just click Add Button, navigate to the location of your source picture and click Save.  

5.                You can save multiple pictures. Lite will display the Last Picture saved.

  6.                If you no longer wish to have a picture displayed, you can Delete it by clicking Delete and Save.  

When you are finished with EZ Pedigree Picture, click close and proceed to the 4 or 5 Generation Pedigree menu item.  You will notice that the Pedigree initially does not display the Picture.  If you desire your Picture to be displayed on the Pedigree, click JPG and the Picture will be displayed.  

New Pedigree Picture Master List has been added to the Retrieve Menu.  Click on the menu item and you will see a list of all of the Pictures stored in the database.  Note; if you have several pictures stored for a dog, you will see multiple entries in the Master List.  To see the Picture associated, Double Click on the entry.  You will then be transported to the EZ Pedigree Picture screen for full Picture management.
