New Release Now Available (Spring 2008)

Champions 4i Release 8 is now available! 

Some of the new features are (1) Pet Detail and all associated data can now be exported to an Excel file.  (2) Added Group Placement to Conformation Show Browse and added BOB and BOS to the Class Placement and Group Placement pull down lists. and (3) Updated AKC Show Entry Form and Litter Registration Application.

Champions 4i Release 7 included the following features: (1) Research Database that allows access & grouping of pet characteristics / identifiers / traits such as Micro Chip ID, unique features, OFA, or CERF and (2) Export capability of Pet Database to Excel.(3) Current AKC Forms Update.

Champions in Windows provides a State-of-the-Art Records Tracking and Management for dog Breeders, Handlers and Kennel Owners. Our System meets or exceeds all AKC Requirements, and provides unique features such as graphical reporting and scanned imaging. For those who are involved with several different breeds, this system is equipped to manage any number of various breeds within the same system.

Champions in Windows operates in a familiar Windows environment enabling powerful and flexible query searches making it very EASY to USE and Understand. The user is not required to learn cryptic codes to operate the system. By using the "mouse," the user can effortlessly maneuver through the many options within the system by simple "point and click" procedures.

Retrieving a Record no longer involves remembering a specific numeric /alpha code and typing it in according to specific regulations. Record Retrieval is as simple as conducting one of six options, which are Retrieving by:

* Dog's Breed * Dog's AKC Number * Dog's Registered Name * Dog's Breeder * Dog's Owner * Dog's Call Name

Several of the Major Functionality Options in the Champions in Windows System are as follows:

Pedigrees: Four & Five Generation, Working

The Pedigree is very unique in its kind; producing 4 & 5 generations.  These Pedigrees can be generated in print, pdf or HTML formats.  The Champion dogs that have the championships status check box selected will automatically view and print in Red and Bold. Furthermore, with our advanced technology, this system incorporates the dog's actual scanned color photo with the pedigree, which is also viewed or printed. If the user requires detailed information, the pet detail record is available producing all pertinent aspects involving a thorough record for each dog. With this system, the user is even equipped with options that meet new specifications such as additional personal identification. The working pedigree allows the user the place a Sire and Dam together and view a four generation pedigree of the potential results.

New Owner Information

This section is designed for the breeder to add important new owner guidelines and helpful hints in caring for a puppy. The two options under the New Owner Information are Diet/Care and History. The Diet/Care section can be used for providing a recommended feeding schedule, type of food and quantity. Other examples are vaccination schedules and deworming treatments along with the causes and symptoms. This section can be used to answer those commonly asked questions on housebreaking, crate training, the proper amount of exercise, grooming requirements, training classes, and furthermore, book and video recommendations. The History section is provided to give new owners important information concerning the History of that particular breed.

Interactive Database 

New Release provide “INTERACTIVE DATABASE” capabilities of Champions with new full screen list/retrieval views of all Pets, Conformation Shows, Owners, Handlers, Judges, Contract and Address Book. Powerful Sort Buttons provide ways to group information by Owner, AKC #, Judge and others. New Reports include full Database Reports for Pet Database, Shows, Breeders, Owners, and Handlers. *Lite has interactive databases for Pets, Owners, Handlers and Address Book.

Medical Information/History Tracking  (CIW)

The Medical portion of this system is designed to track and maintain each dog's medical history and scheduled treatments such as vaccinations, deworming and heartworm prevention. Under the Miscellaneous portion of Medical, all doctor's visits - annual or emergency are included with diagnosis, prescription, and charges which are maintained under each dog. Tests such as OFA, CERF, etc. are recorded with a pass/fail, certification number, and certified grade as necessary. Also under Medical, there is a section whether or not the dog has Dysplasia including a comments area regarding the severity of the disease and treatment. The Vaccinations section has many typical shots types already displayed which allows the user to simply check for the shots due and given. On the Vaccinations section the age of the dog, type of shot and brand of shot information can be entered. The Medical History, Vaccinations and Deworming sections all have the ability to print the information displayed.

Contracts and Transactions (CIW)

The Transfer portion of the system provides the ownership status of each dog with available Sales, Lease and Co-Ownership Contracts. Each transaction is recorded and provides a complete transfer history for each dog. Every contract in the system automatically populates the pertinent information about the dog, owners, breeders and buyers. The contracts are flexible to allow the user to store and insert their "own words" into the body of the contract. The system also includes a Stud Contract which is found in the Breeding Information section.

Breeding Records Management (CIW)

The Breeding portion of the system is designed to track the breeding history of each dog, while maintaining specific breeding details each time the dog is bred. The breeding section incorporates detailed information about the mating process, birth information and litter evaluation. Other available features include: an offspring listing, female record management, in-season information and reporting, puppy revenue, puppy vaccinations schedule, ovulation testing and pregnancy details report information. This section also incorporates the following reports: Record of Litter report for each breeding, Breeding History report for each dog, Individual Breeding Records report, Puppy Revenue report and Breeding transactions report.

Shows/Events Tracking (CIW)

The Show/Events portion of this system was thoroughly studied and researched to provide the optimum functionality for today's showing needs. There are ten sections available which include:

* Agility * Conformation * Obedience * Jr. Showmanship * Other Trials

* Herding Trials * Judge's Critique * AKC Entry Form * Conformation, Obedience & Other Trials Show Histories * Junior Showmanship History

Each section under Shows contains essential features necessary to maintain proper records in tracking show results including features such as: Cumulative points to date, complete show history details and show expense management.

Comprehensive Income/Expense Reporting (CIW)

The Income/Expense reporting section of this system is provided to maintain and report all incomes and expenses under the specific category the transactions is placed. Some pre-defined expense categories are currently provided such as: classes, grooming, handling, boarding, operating, food/supplies, medical, travel, breeding, advertising, show/event and other expenses. An Income/Expense report can be run at any time: weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. The Income/Expense report is produced graphically with bar charts and in tabular form. Expenses and Incomes can be entered and printed for individual dogs, groups of dogs and through general income/expense categories. All financial reports can now be selected based on a transactions category and date range. With the new category selection you can pinpoint the exact amount of income and expenses for each category type.
